Success stories in international law

Firm's experience

Matters in which jurisdiction, assets, or decisions taken transcend a single border

RRYP Global intervenes in conflicts and operations where it is necessary to decide not only what to do, but where to act, what legislation is applicable, what effects a decision may have in another jurisdiction, and how to coordinate a legally enforceable strategy.

This selection reflects some of the firm's experience. For reasons of confidentiality, matters are presented only with information that can be made public and, where appropriate, in anonymized form.

When assets cannot be analyzed from a single jurisdiction

Locating assets is only part of the problem. In a liquidation, inheritance, or estate dispute, it may be necessary to determine what rights exist, what legislation governs them, which court can rule on them, and how to affect assets or interests located outside of Spain.

Private client

The strategy is built on the legal structure of the estate and the client's objectives, not on a standardized solution for each asset considered in isolation.

Litigation and judicial cooperation

When a procedural decision in Spain can have consequences outside of Spain

The practice includes European criminal judicial cooperation, recognition of foreign judgments, proceedings with actions in other jurisdictions, and economic criminal litigation with cross-border elements.

An international issue requires a single strategy

The existence of professionals or actions in different jurisdictions should not fragment the management of the matter.

01 Define the position

Identify facts, jurisdictions, applicable regulations, objectives and risks before making decisions that may affect the matter.

02 design the strategy

Determine what actions are necessary, in what order they should be carried out, and what decisions require direct client intervention.

03 Coordinate jurisdictions

When the matter requires actions outside of Spain, coordinate lawyers, notaries, experts or other professionals within a common legal strategy.

04 Control the execution

Maintain direction on critical milestones of the matter and review the strategy when facts, procedural position, or objectives change.
